Ay-Fi Safaris organizing hunting tours for more then 10 years. For the past 2 years Ay-Fi Safaris are participating to SCI show and this year will participate to Grand Slam Club Ovis exhibition at Las Vegas.

Turkish wild life National parks, along with other wild animals, opened the bear hunt in Turkey for 2008-09 seasons.

General Conditions and prices:

Formalities:

Outfitters or hunters are requested to send the details of their hunting license, rifle serial number and its caliber and also their arrival and departure dates to Ay-fi Safaris. Ay-fi Safaris will procure the hunting license. Trophy fees are assessed by the Ministry of Forest and must be paid as cash or travelers checks. All Foreign hunters are allowed to bring at most 3 rifles and 3 shotguns with 50 bullets for each caliber and 100 shot shells for each gauge.

Bookings are made through:

Fifty percent of the total hunt prices are to be paid as deposit for firm bookings unless specified otherwise. The remaining amount is to be paid in Turkey upon arrival.

Asian Wild Boar:  Hunting area is in the North of Ankara and Antalya. 7 days accommodation in Ay-Fi’s hunting lodge or hotels in hunting area and 5 days hunt. Driven hunt by beaters and hounds, high seat hunting in moonlight or stalking over the snow. High seat is recommended for big trophy hunters. Also it’s available to organize weekend hunting trips for 3-4 days. Best time for driven hunt is between 1^st of October – 28^th of February and for high seat between 1^st of May – 31^st of Nov. Minimum 10 hunters are required for driven hunt.

Bezoar Ibex (Capra aegagrus aegagrus) : The areas are in the South, in Mediterranean region and East parts of Turkey where the very beautiful sides and historic sites of Turkey can also be seen. Accommodation will be in hunting camps, villager’s homes or hotels in hunting area. 8 nights accommodation and 7 days hunting. The area is covered with pine and oak forests and the terrain is rocky. Suitable calibers are 6.5 x 68 S, 7 mm Mag.,30.06, 270 and 300 Mag. The climate is warm till the end of October. After November it can be cold and rainy, so woolen clothing and rainwear’s are advisable. Hunting dates are between 1^st of August – 31^st of March. Best time is between 15^th of Oct. - 25^th of Dec. because of the rutting time.

Asian Chamois (Rupicabra rupicabra Anatolia) :

Hunting area is Yusufeli-Artvin on Kaçkar Mountain (North-East of Turkey ). Hunting altitude is between 2.000-3.000 m. (6.500-9.800 feet). Usually 8 nights accommodation at the hunting area in hunting lodges, villagers homes or hunting camps and 5 days hunting. Suitable calibers are 6.5 x 68 S, 7 mm Rem. Mag., 30.06, 270 Mag.  The region is mountainous and barren. Flight reservations should be made to Erzurum. Transportation will be provided by Ay-Fi Safaris. Hunting dates are between 1^st of August – 31^st of December. Best time is between 20^th of October – 30^th of November.

Asian Brown Bear (Ursus Arctos) :

Hunting area is North and East of Turkey. Altitude is 1.500 (4500 feet). & nights stay and 5 days hunt. Accommodation at villagers houses or hotels at the hunting area. Suitable calibers are 7 mm Mag., 300 Win. Mag., 300 Wby. Mag., or bigger. The region is mountainous and covered with pine and oak trees. Hunting dates are between 15^th  October – 15^th December.

Asian Red Deer & Roedeer:

Hunting area is North Anatolia. Accommodation in hotels or villagers houses. 5 days hunt and 6 nights stay. Hunting method is stalking. The region is covered with pine trees. Flight reservations should be made to Ankara. Hunting time is between 01^st  May – 31^st  December.

Hunt price for Red Deer starts at    : $ 14.900 - Per person included 1 Red Deer

Hunt price for Roe Deer starts at   : $   6.900 - Per person included 1 Roe Deer

• Trophy fees are assessed by Ministry of Forest and must be paid in cash or travelers check.
  
  
• All trophy and daily fees, Hunting terms and Conditions subject to change without notice by the wildlife department of Turkey
  
  
• Hunt prices include hunt organization, hunting permissions, guides, interpreter, custom clearance, dogs, transfers, trophy preparation, meals (alcoholic drinks are extra) and lodging.
  
  
• The hunting trip can be extended up to 10 hunting days.
  
  
• All the hunts prices are 1x1 and extra hunting day is $ 400.
  
  
• Once trophy/trophies has/have been bagged, the hunt is over for all species except wild boar.
  
  
• The price for non hunters is $ 90 - per day.
